I had several Corsair's the first one was a 2 door 1500cc straight 4, the Kent engine as was fitted to the Cortina, Reg number wax XVG777, that would be worth a penny or two now on it's own, and then I had a couple of V4's 4 door models, one was a 2000e auto in Silver Fox with a black vinal roof.
I also had Ford Classic like in the above pic but mine was the Blue and White paintwork, it eventually fell apart with the dreaded metal-moth, as most Classic's did !!

My first ever driving lesson was in a Tiger - YAY!

When I was in New Zealand a couple of weeks back there were lots of old Brit cars whizzing around - Dolomites, Triumph 2500, Toledos, Morris 1100 etc

The best was a Mk 2 Cortina 1600E on the shores of Lake Taupo - except I have no idea what was under the bonnet - but it was very quick and sounded lovely.

I had to make sure I had a bag of sand or cement in the boot of mine if the roads were wet!

I'm using a back-up phone at the moment until I get a replacement, sometimes the ringer doesn't work.
