Overall the project took four years, a lot of hard graft and about £90,000 to complete,
That motor is turning into the Rover V8 of the engine swap world, great news for making more stuff available to make the swap easier.4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road...

Nice!
My fave bit would be 'it’s fitted with a Dodge Viper six-speeder.'
When I worked at Borg Warner I was the Project Leader responsible for the upgrade to the T56 gearbox to allow it to cope with the Vipers 8 LITRE engine.
When the Yanks sent us the torque requirements of the box we thought it was a misprint. We had to develop an entire new set of synchros and manufacturing processes - they ended up looking like lorry components.
What was nice was getting to drive prototype #13 in Indianapolis - way before the motoring world knew what was about to hit them - happy days.Another member of the 'A' team

The engine was red lined at 4500rpm - but most of the massive torque was available from 1200rpm - totally crazy car. All done with cubes - no turbos or supers - not needed.Another member of the 'A' team
