smokey start up

this is what my truck does everytime i start it cold, anyidea? i know other people have been having similar problem. is anyones this bad?

cant say ive ever floored the accelerator on start up cause i wouldnt wanna wreck the turbo so i dont know if mine does that!

i only bring the revs up 2 3000rpm i have to if i dont it doesnt start. it coughs and dies. its like i'm having 2 clear it out

sorry didnt mean to sound harsh,if it stalls without doin that id change yr filters,run some redex thru for a start

yeah i've had it serviced regularly and put redex through but the problem still persists. ive had the glow plugs changed aswell, just cant seem to get it sorted

hmmm will it tick over once warm?will it start ok when warm?

did u change all the filters as well?

or maybe ur dieselpump timing is out

Assuming the motor is mechanically sound, I'd get some recon injectors next, if you've done the glowplugs, and serviced it recently (fuel and air filters specifically). if that dosn't help, then fuel pump is next.

Its worth pulling the fault codes, to see if a sensor is playing up and overfueling on start up.
