How big is the duel tank on a 92 K 2.4td Auto.

It reads empty to I fill it up with approx 39 40L and then shes full. Is this right.

I've got the same motor and that's about the amount of fuel that fits in mine. So yes !

I think there are three different sizes but popular opinion seems to be between 65 to 75 litres. I reckon that mine ('90 2.4 auto) is 65 litres.

I'd go with Roger, I can get just over 60L in when the red light comes on. 1994 3.0

The most I ever got in mine was 59.4 Litres. I was well in the red, and the light had been lit for quite a while. I wanted to she how far she would go, and chickened out in the end!!
Mine is a 92 2.4TD auto also

I ususally squeeze about 50L in at fill-up time. My fuel guage is frighteningly er.........vague. Sticks at the top for about 80-90 Miles, plummets to 1/4 and creeps towards empty v e r y s l o w l y.
