    What would happen if you bought all the power stations in britian and switched them off......

            I have just had me customary eleventytwelve coffee's (fourty six sugars) and am currently drifting in and out of a diabetic coma.......just right to drive that bus this afternoon

                If it isn't flippant, then I expect we'd owe France a lot of money, only the south would have power, and the english channel DC connector would get mighty warm!

                  Surely the interconnectors would trip?

                  France has a fair ammount of spare capacity, but not enough to keep us going. The surge would cause them (along with the rest of mainland Europe) a fair ammount of hassle too.

                    Staples came out this morning - ouch!! Nina took a pic with them all in - which I may post later when she sends it to me - but it's not pretty!!

                    So - now I no longer have a head full of bandages and just a couple of strips over a yucky bit, and new dressings till tomorrow....and no hair...none!
                    Too old to care, young enough to remember
