  • Which car?

I'm going up to North Yorkshire for a friend's birthday at the end of March. I can't decide what to take. I think I know the most popular answer, but I'm a bit concerned about fuel and someone nicking it from outside my house.

    In no particular order:

As much fun as the citroen would be, any hills would kill it.Take the t5 sanch...they are HUGE fun, and reasonable on the fuel
    Non intercooled nothing.

Very true Graham but, if he chokes on a pickle and cheese stick at the party as he turns blue two thoughts will go through his head. "Bugger she was hot wonder if she would have" and "Should have had a go in the 69 Ford"

        I tried, she said no.

I kind of get the feeling it needs to be the Mustang....

              I concur. Mustang.

Or possibly the Jag, if she's gonna be impressed by understated class.

If you take the Citroen, she'll think you're metrosexual, and probably have a handbag of some sort. If you take the Volvo, she'll think you're dull, cos most women would just think 'Volvo' rather than turbocharged sleeper. The rolls will just get scratched and spat on, and the taxi, WHY???

Citroen DS. If only I could find a Safari (Estate) at a reasonable price.

Thanks chaps. Expect the price of fuel to go up around the end of March due to extreme demand, as I'm taking the Mustang.

I'll take the DS when I go to see my old man in April. He's a bit of a Citroen fanatic.

Believe it or not, my mum had one as her daily driver when I was a kid. In the end, I decided it wasn't all that exciting to use all those points on the car I used to go to Asda in....
