Ah, yes. I have plenty at the moment, but I build flats for a living so it's all staying in the bank in case I need it, which seems likely. Had a meeting with the partners yesterday. No bonus, no pay rise this year. But, they have said if we drum up enough new business to put new contracts in place by October, they will give us all rises and back date them to April. Fair I suppose.

I have seen lean times but not like this ,since the early eightie's.We have (or soon will be) entering a new AMP period, so work will have to start sometime...but its been a real tough time.Apart from six weeks work before xmas....nowt. I am looking at driving coaches this summer...possibly with tobyjug !!
It's much easier to start with the inletting (the slot the action sits in) is done first, while the rest of the stock is still squared off. For that a router is the weapon of choice. For the rest of the job very basic tools will do it if you are patient... Want me to make one for ya?
