Ok I admit I was expecting it to fail but wasn't expecting the amount.
1. Both front brake pipes corroded and need replacing.
2. Off side track rod arm has excessive play.
3. And the windscreen wipers need replacing.
The only parts the garage could source was MrT
; thankfully he called me before ordering.
I've got the braided pipes and the track rod from roughtrax for the cost of a brake pipe from MrT
.
How difficult is changing the track rod with basic tools
I'm not sure if any of you guys remember this
all that needed replacing was top and bottom ball joint. The impact was taken on the towing eye fitted under the bull bar. It's now a few mills higher on the near side
