I witnessed summat similar to the parking one at our doctors some years ago, this woman took a good 15 minuits to get her little car in a free slot, after bounceing it off both cars on either side and the one accross the next line, could'nt believe it, she was only gonna bugga off into the doctors without telling the drivers of the cars she hit till i yelled at her, after threatening to leave notes on their cars with her reg no and my phone no she did the decent thing and left the notes herself, should never be driveing in the first place and she were'nt old or owt, just cr@p at it
I know, "someone" who hit a car in a supermarket, fair bit of damage to it too as there was lots of witnesses but no driver they took the witness details them selfs and then made a thing of writiing a note saying Sorry as they had to get to work and left the note with there number on the damaged car, then drove away, no one thought to take their reg as they appered so "honest" and the note said, "oops hit your car, never mind! Ring me on 01932-123456.
They got away with it too! - felt so sorry for the owners!!
Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)
I hate sh!t like that... Know a lorry driver who left his hand brake half off.. Slid down a hill taking out 7-8 cars along the way..
Did the exact same thing!
My mate works at a garage selling cars.. theres been two large incidents. First, Someone slammed on the gas thinking it was the brake pedal an smashed into three new cars causing hefty damage to all of them..
the second was when someone pulled out without looking .. a car ended up on its roof because of that!!

Both caused by old biddies!!
rod, lorry barakes are air, parking brake is either on or off,no inbetween~?
No way in a million years will i argue with you about lorrys!!
But what do i do know is that he parked it up...then it went down the hill..
Maybe his hand brake came off!?
don't know what he done then coz as bdt said its all air. the brakes can't come off accidentally coz they're always trying to be on, when you release the hand brake the air is actually forcing the brakes off - think thats right - its still all quite new to me. unless the lorry was like 50 years old.
