I've noticed that Halfauds are doing fully synthetic 5W/40 for £29.99 and they are buy one get one free, is this ok for surfs with summer approaching?

If I recall correctly the bottle said for petrol and newer diesels, we thought our 10 year old motor may not qualify and went for a diesel oil from a local car shop - cost us half as much and we got a free bottle of injector cleaner.
