Someone called? I do indeed use a Mac. Two in fact, an old iBook in the living room and a new iMac in the 'office'/junk storage room.

I would never ever use a PC again. PCs are more customisable, potentially more powerful, have a broader range of software and are cheaper to buy. But Macs work like toasters. You don't get conflicts, you don't get blue screens, you don't get random crashes, you don't even get viruses (most of the time). You sit down, turn it on and do whatever you like.

For advanced users, PC every time. For someone who wants to go on the internet, listen to music, store photos, play around with graphics and do the odd bit of work, it has to be a Mac.

And, yes, I have built, configured and repaired many PCs in my time and know what they're capable of. I suppose it's a bit like comparing a TVR to a Porsche. On measures of performance, the TVR is better and cheaper, but the Porsche looks good, works properly and doesn't break down all the time

All in my very (as we all know) humble opinion of course.

          True..

I've got a SyncMaster screen with 2ms response time and 20000:1 contrast ratio.. which is crazy!

Frankly... best screen ive ever used.. Was £300 most places on the internet at the time... nearly £400 in PC world...

Managed to pick it up for £99 because the box it came in had light damage..

Someone opened it.. then resealed it with brown tape!

          BARGAIN!!!!
