Is that no to a berlingo or no to getting rid of the truck?
with the money i got this month i should have really got the tracking/balenceing done and got the + 3-4" (whatever) rear shocks but i thought f##k it i'm spending it on me this time, few beers, currys, (subways), one or two other bits and pieces, and balls to the surf

ian the berlingos arent bad vans but seriously the amount of time and effort u have put into the truck, think about it miles wise, wot diffrence will it really make?

Part of the problem (prob quite a big part)Andy is my wifes haveing trouble getting in and out, selfish on my part according to her (and she's probably right) for fitting bigger tyres and uping the sus, i borrowed a berlingo just before christmas and she had no probs with that access wise, to make the truck easier access for her i could do with doing what i wanted to do in the first place and make/have made a air or hydralic opp step summat like the tailgate on a lorry, the step i did make is now too high for her so as a temp measure i bought a step ladder, it's a right performance! for her and me, we must look a right pair of dipsy doogles f##in about with stepladders
if i can keep the truck for myself i will but as i say i need to see how the cash goes,

Pop's!! sorry for hijacking the thread mate, i'll shut up now

                          bl**dy thread police!!

                          Sorry pops.

Anyway, Its not a volvo.. but that is quite pretty! I had to google image it because i didn't have a clue what is was.

You'll all see soon enough what it is! Its nothing american, Its approx 240 bhp but its still sposed to return around 30mpg! Which will be heaven!

Ian, I love your truck mate! A hell of a lot of hard work has gone into making it what it is today. But i do seriously appreciate how much more awkward they can be when lifted an how thirsty they get! Im somewhere around 15mpg average.. I hate to think what its doing when im in an around town. The other night was stop/start stuff an the needle was racing down to empty!

My only regret is that i didn't go for a bracket lift. Tweaking the torsion bars has given a very bouncey ride! The seats in a surf are fantastic but it handles like a boat an feels like a bouncy castle!

The suspension on my truck is at its limits without the expensive bracket lift. Im not sure working out what i've spent i could justify another £1000 just to buy the kit!!

I'll miss it when its gone but at the end of the day... Getting another surf an doing the lift on it would be a piece of pi$$! Not as if there hard to come by.

You need a Lexus V8 fitted to get the front suspension stiff again (All aluminum much lighter than the diesel lump)
