Mines aint got a comp,just a compass/altmeter gizmo.

i meant altimeter compass thing not computer...
so how does it work then??!!

An Altimeter tells you how high above sea level you are by the difference in air pressure compared to sea level, and a compass tells you which way is North by the metal needle being attracted by the magnetic pole of the planet.

i want one of those! does anyone know if someone does a stick-on-dashboard widget thing that does the same thing...

..i have a gps but want something to stick on the dash (my ssrx has no computery stuff

marky bought one off ebay i think.... they're rubbish though... only go to about 30 degrees, so most of the time they're off the scale if you're on anything more than a gentle slope.

and if you stop/start quickly they think you are at an angle!! Fun tho!!
