I was going to upgrade my system, but may have bigger ideas now! Can you run me through what amps/speaker set up you've got please? If you turn it up a bit i should be able to hear it in Hertford!

have you fitted any speakers in the door panels if so how did you get on?? i.e. space need behind the panel. I have fitted "4 in the front doors but I'm thinking of replacing them with Kenwood 6'9 200w but will need to build them out to get the clearance needed for the window. in the back I have JBL 2x 300w 6/9's Sub 1800w powered by a 6 way amp1100w

THANKS FOR THE FEED BACK GENTS... THE SYSTEM IS RATED AT 4000 WATTS RMS IN THIS CASE 8000 WATTS CAR STEREO POWER BUT ITS RUNNING QUITE HAPPY AT 3.6K AND SO IS THE ALTERNATOR LOL. THERE IS THREE AMPS MADE BY ALPINE AND JACKSON AUDIO AMERICA . THERE ARE THREE SUB AT 15 INCH AND ONE SUB AT 18 INCH IN THE FRONT HALF...FOLLOWED BY TWO SETS OF PIONEER TSA 2510 10 INCH THREE WAY SPEAKERS (OTHER PAIR TO FOLLOW ON TUESDAY HENCE THE HOLES IN THE BACK LOL... ITS VERY LOUD AND WE USE THE SPEEDO WHEN STATIONARY AS THE RICTOR SCALE LOL I HAVE HAD THE NEEDLE BOUNCE UP TO 15 MPH WITH THE BASS LOL BUT ANY MORE AND ITS UNBEARABLE THIS IS AT HALF VOLUME AS WELL THE SYSTEM IN TOTAL HAS SET ME BACK 400 QUID AND ALOT OF HARD WORK ON THAT 3/4 INCH MDF BOX BUT IF YOU GUYS ARE LOOKING FOR A DECENT SET OF FULL RANGE SPEAKERS GET THESE PIONEER BABYS THEY ROCK...LOL DOOR PODS I AM FINDING HARD TO MAKE AS I HAVE NEVER USED GRP BEFORE BUT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DOIN THE MDF FRAMES THE DOOR SPEAKERS WILL SIT IN WILL KEEP U INFORMED IF YOUR INTERESTED...NEEDLESS TO SAY THE STANDARD ONES IN THE DASH ARE RIPPED AND TINY HENCE THE CACK HILUX SOUND YOU ARE WELL ACUSTOM TOO IF YOU HAVE AN EAR FOR CLARITY AND DEPTH. 6/9 INCH SPEAKERS ARE NOT THAT GREAT REALLY BECAUSE OF THE EXCURSION OF THE CONE (MOVEMENT RESTRICTIONS) PIONEER TSA 2510 GET THEM BOUGHT LOL....THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST..
