Wanted 3ltr td 3rd gen

Hi all,
I'm a new member to the forum but have been a visitor to the site on many occasions.

I am on the market for a 3ltr diesel surf. Must be 3rd gen.

Used to have a 2.5ltr diesel disco but soon tired of it as it was in the workshop more than on the road.

Anything considered for the right price.

Money ready and waiting.

theres a couple on e bay that look good. Also a bloke in a garage in Leeming Bar nr Bedale north yorkshire got one in that needs registering like-Silver '96 with 66000 miles on. Duno what sort of money you want to pay tho

How'd you mean need registering? What sort of price is it do you know?

I called in there today, he's asking 6K on the road, serviced n stuff so I would forget it... he brought it in from Japan and needs registering at the DVLA

I just bought a '96 blue over silver for £2500 a few weeks back and its been well looked after. Theres a few out there for that price but I wouldn't pay more than 3k

Kevs right, don't pay over the odds.

There's loads out there if you don't mind traveling, but if your not up for driving 100 miles+ then just post on here where you've seen it & im sure someone from the forum who lives nearby will go have a look at it on your behalf.

Saves you alot of time & money in fuel driving miles to look at a complete shed.

Al throw in the lot, the new wheels and tyres i just had fitted, the boxed and unfitted lift kit, brand new CB radio, everythin... £2500

Its in brilliant condition, an SSR-G too so it has a load of nice toys on it

But its a 2nd Gen ...

Just have my heart set on a 3rd gen. My mate has one and swears by it.

Is there anything in particular I should look at when viewing??
