    Sooooooo cold

    Stein and i went out for a play this afternoon ............so cold the water was freezing on the truck befoe it had time to drain off .

    Still did the compton down byway


    Oh and good to see you this morning Jess and Zenda hope you had a good run back

      my licence plate and the front of the truck is covered in ice about a quarter on an inch thick.couldnt even open the rear doors when we got home frozen shut.

                    I remember Magnus Pike explaining it years ago. I think it's to do with the evaporative rate and some other things that I can't remember.

                    The same sort of thing that causes the water on the surface of a canal to freeze whilst the colder water below it doesn't.

                      the only reason i did it was to clear them as the amount of mud mixed in with the ice was obsurring the indicators and numberplate
