just seen this on the fronty forum
Mother inlaw just called, she had a phone call from the bank saying she was due a refund of £475 into here account, the guy had her name address sort code and even the three security digits on the rear of the card, he then told her the first few numbers of her account then asked her to verify the rest of the numbers, she refused they guy said he would get his manager, after a minute the same guy was back on the phone pretending to be the manager, she said give me your phone number Ill call you back, he refused and just said Bye and hung up.
Mother inlaw has been in touch with the bank and they have frozen her account now the police are involved.
This all happened a half hour ago.
