  • what about that .....

i just this morning, was given a motorbike engine, from a honda. its from a cbr 1000f (whatever that is), anyhow, its now become apparent that i can install this in the corsa. the bike engine in a mini has happened before, why not a corsa. im hugely tempted to give it a go.
    Non intercooled nothing.

Take out the rear seats, cut a big hole in the boot floor, fit bike engine, fab up an axle with a sprocket in the midle, connect up chain and off you go.

It'll have bugger all torque though, so you'd be well advised to take everything other than the driver's seat out of the corsa.

Or forget the Corsa and install the engine in something lighter like ...say a cbr 1000f frame

Now that sounds like a plan. I wonder if it would be an easy fit?

and you think the 3 cylinder 973 cc 62 bhp engine in there at the moment has bags of torque now

I have an off road buggy with a cb 500s motor shoehorned in and that is rapid. That is basicly the 1000 motor cut in half.
