sorry to swear, but why does the land cruiser colarado.s seem so cheap, have found a couple of 97/98,s with full leather heated seats, 3ltr diesel etc etc for the same money as a decent 2nd gen surf, are they that bad??????

They're basically a British version of the 3rd gen Surf or Prado.

As Vince says, under the skin it is basically a 3rd Gen.

Except many of the Brit spec ones had an e'locking rear diff to go with the centre locking diff.

The Prado Jap imports don't normally have the rear locker.

        LC90's are very good trucks.

EDIT - if you've got a chance of getting a 10 y.o. LC90 for the price of a 2nd gen Surf then its no contest - on road they are better and off road MUCH better than a 2nd Surf

              Sounds expensive for the mileage.
              Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)
