has any one done a rear door tailgate conversion?

mine works by window down then tailgate down.

some of the later models tailgate opens upward.is that changeable?

dont know if anyone has done a side hinged door.

You wont get a 3rd gen rear door to fit a 2nd gen mate.

I have heard of a few side hinged conversions.

Would probably still be a case of getting the window down into the tailgate so im not sure it would be worth bothering with really.

          sure is!

Its a limited edition model with a bigsby tremolo on it.

Great fun to play but goes out of tune if you so much as dare look at it.

              Well said mate!!

I dont care that much for expensive guitars. Got a couple worth a few bob but out of my collection of 11 guitars... my favorite ones are all less then £300.

worked for a professional guitarist for a time and his advice to me before i bought my first guitar (after 30 years) was that it had to feel right i was sold a johnson (£99.00) and still have it . love it have fitted a mex scratchplate double fat just love it got my hands on a very old strat (one of his) and hated it so perhaps the guy was right
