  • A Top Site

Im not a regular user of this site and i feel quite guilty, i have learned so much to help me fix stuff and had a real positive response from all of the other members. TOP F*&^%ing notch. I've bought loads o stuff from members aswell and as far as i'm concerned, never been ripped.
Give ya sells a bit pat on the back.
    I have been humbled.
    Good for the soul!
Many thanx to the crew of THE Hiluxsurf.co.uk.

Nice one guys, the blokes been a member for over two and only made 21 posts, one of them to thank the members. May I remind you there are people who post every day, who aren't paid up members, and they don't seem to get any hassle?

Your welcome, its a combination of all the people that post/use this site that make it what it is. Without the input from various people the site would not be what it is, whether they just post or subscribe everyone makes a contribution in some way.

Obviously those that do pay the subs help towards the running of the site but subs is not an enforced thing. I like to think if people use this site and feel they have benefited from it they have the choice to make a donation or subscribe.

Whilst I appreciate the drive towards getting people to donate, subscribe I also feel it may have the adverse effect of driving people away if the feel pressured in to doing so.

Some times the words of thanks, like the ones in the first post, should still give people some satisfaction of how they have helped others, it does works for me.

Also there are people who have made a donation towards the site but have not wished for a silver star to reflect this. There are those who have made a donation at the time of posting and I haven't managed to upgrade their profile until a but later.

I think/hope that all of the above posts were meant and received in good humour. Anyway, thanks for signing up, Peter. Continue to fire away with questions, queries and cries for help and we will all be delighted to help, make smart arse comments and go off topic
