Cuts out as it wont rev any harder but still runs, or dies completely?
Maybe it has a rev limiter...
    it's in me shed, mate.

dont think it has a rev limiter, it should rev all the way to 12,000

as soon as he hits 10,000 the bike completeley die, once you pull over and try to kick it, it takes a good 12 kicks to get it going again....

but starts 1 or 2 second kick every morn...

The CDI unit probably needs replacing. Check the exhaust for restrictions too.

What colour is the spark plug? Is the throttle slide going all the way up? is the main jet clean and the needle straight?
{Edit} scratch that it's fuel injection!

Is the fuel tank venting properly?
Try running it with the filler cap off
What have I told you about thinking Erroll

it sounds like carb freeze its when the cold weather restricts the petrol flow and floods the carb you can try silkaline pro fst addative or or wyns dry ,two capfuls to a full tank can buy from halfords.

My money's on one of the fuel filters or a blocked breather.

                    plug

try changing the plug to one that runs a higher temp. and as its ticking over spray some carb cleaner or similar on the inlet rubber. if it floods or revs higher then u r drawing air.

Five quid it's the CDI unit then.

Whatevers wrong with it I can't see any point in revving a 125 4 stroke past 10,000 revs...

2 things i would check, the carb itself, maybe a hole in the floats or blocked needle,or pipe that carb goes onto may be split
