theres some nice big ones there Steve.
i do find it nice and relaxing in the summertime when its nice to just sit out by the pond for a few hours
Oh they are twice the size now. I lost 3 of my giants last summer god damn mink. Found them all out on the bank with just the heads taken off. All of them over 2ft.
the biggest of mine must be a good 16-18inch long maybe a bit bigger then going down in size. The smallest are the 2 butterfly koi which are about 6"-8" at the moment.Theres 3 goldfish in the pond aswell
If i could keep them i would but we are thinking of selling up and buying somewhere smaller but with a big garden aswell and we were advised the house would sell better without the pond.I have also a big clover leaf filter system which is suitable for a pond upto 2500 gals and a very good pump and uv aswell. The pump uv and filter cost me £800 alone so i'll be open to suitable offers on that once the fish have been sold.
I'm hoping a local aquarium may be able to take them in alook after them for me till we move and i was able to make another pond
my mums other half keeps koi and is building a new pond, can u mail me details bout the pump?and try and ask him
it was along the lines of this that my mate used http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Koi-Show-Vat-Q...3A1|240%3A1318 but the one he used was about twice as deep, and a bit over 2 metres wide. He found it on ebay, and resold it once he'd finished with it. He put a couple of plants and some oxygenating weed in and ran a small pump and filter in it.
