will halfords stock a fuel filter for my 3rd Gen

i need a fuel filter for my 3rd gen 3.0td

im wondering if halfords are likely to stock one rather than waste a 10 mile trip to find out they dont.

i run my surf on waste veg oil and its running on low power and sometimes the engine light comes on so i suspect the fuel filter may be needing changed and atarving the fuel when using thicker veg oil, its fine on just diesel.

you mean they are quailfied to answer the phone and check stock

mine is a 96 3rd gen the 4runner stopped in 95, i think

many thanks, now i can tackle halfords with the right info, if they dont have one i may just order one online

i think i will order online as i called a local factors who had one in and they want £15 for the fuel filter alone.

roughttrax are that much for the filter set of oil air and fuel

i maybe should buy the filter kit from roughtrax and do the oil and belts and filters at the same time

Ya could also try a local Motor factors or Milners Offroad ...

There's always a Payback .... Just don't expect a Warning !!!!

If i remember correctly ....Milners do the whole kit-Air,fuel and oil filter for a tenner + P&P
