I got a Petron starter kit complete with Butt and stand, as a brthday pessie a few years ago,It's great fun and gets draged out every summer. remember you need a bit off space to do Archery. We have 3 acres round our place, lost a fair few arrows aswell.
My bow is a left handed one, but I can use ether. Many of the outdoor activity centres do hour or half hour Archery lesons..... well worth it .
Have fun.

If you can afford it get onto eBay and look for a Hoyt gold medalist, it is a above entry level bow and would last you years, Hoyt are one of the best bows you will get, but to be honest you need to go down to an archery shop and have your draw measured (distance you pull) and also your draw weight. cant remember what mine is off hand.Roy
When ya stop having fun, Ya start getting old
