Is there something about smart cars that requires my neighbour to sit outside revving her engine for ten minutes before going anywhere or does she just think it's still the 1970s?

no but if u have ever driven one,it's a sure sign that either a,she cant figure out how to change gear
,or b,she likes the weird engine note

She's still going. Happens once a week. Maybe she's trying to keep the battery charged. I tend to go for a drive myself.Comment

Aparently the sequential auto box in the Smart can sometimes have grmlins in the electronics. Like showing 1st Gear on the dash indicator while still in N.Comment

I've had the pleasure of driving a smart car, used to be a pizza delivery boy but instead of mopeds we had smart cars. To be honest the only good thing about it was that you needed less space to park it. Apart from that it was horrible, felt like was going to tip over on a corner and in an accident with anything bigger, the crumple zone would be your face.
Still some people have some crazy ideas for them.....
