  • It's dead!

And it's too ferkin baltic to be out there fixin it!

Starter motor contacts completely shafted now. There was a time a week or so back when it would work given enough grunt in the batteries, but now, despite the batteries being on charge for the last two days, just a click and no action.

Bet people in warm countries dont have problems with their truck, cos mine only ever plays up when its below bl00dy zero outside!!

Anyway, have ordered the bits from Barry, so hopefully I can cajole spannerboy into giving me a hand sometime next week.

Hammer dont work at all this time!

I was wondering if there's a little water in there this time, and its frozen the plunger in place. I have - erm - submerged it on a few occasions this year.

          Look on the bright side.

Least you will have a recon starter for next years trips, something less to worry about

Hi Gra! Welcome back mate. When you back this way?

1st class is a bit overrated - been upgraded from business / club once or twice. Club is nice, and only a few grand for the ticket - which is OK when your employer is footing the bill
