This really was the album of my youth (well, 5th year).

I downloaded the album in mp3 form a couple of months ago and added it to my player's play list......real nostalgia.

        NOSTALGIA - now you're talking !

The other day I took advantage of Zavvi's demise and bought myself a copy of Meddle as my cassette tape copy had long since gone west (And I don't have a tape player any more)

My boys were amazed at the length of Echoes - and were totally gobsmacked when I told them about the 45 minute version they played as the encore at Knebworth in 1975 !

Life is too important to take seriously !

I like eminem an i used to think he was a great musician till you realise he just raps over other peoples songs. Credit to him for that but it took the edge off for me.

I listen to anything an everything to be honest.

At 26 my musical tastes are starting to settle.

as a youth i loved green day and nirvana and foo fighters etc.

then got a car and installed 2000w speakers and a 1400w competition amp at a total cost of £2500. thus got into alot of D&B, and anything with a bit of bass.

then i grew up and got back into anything that has a good catchy tune, and takes skill to perform.

              pretty eclectic now.

saw foo fighters in wembley last year, which was amazing and will always love them. also for christmas i got the stereophonics greatest hits (which is tremendous!) and chicane (anyone remember them).

going to see newton faulkner in a couple of weeks which should be fantastic!

there again still love some classic cafe del mar -esque dance tunes.

Just love things a bit different and impressive really, liike these guys! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=z5MkNOXSdkA

              cheers,

80's :- Bryan Adams, Marillion, Fish.

I see we have a few Floyd fans on board, have a look on here www.aussiefloyd.com. A superb Floyd tribute band that spend most of there time touring the world. I've got tickets too see them in May at AECC. This is the third time I've seen them..... a must for Pink Floyd fans.

Also got Dave Gilmour's Live in Gdansk Special Edition Box set for Christmas, again not to be missed.
