Vince, You have replied to querry on the TOC forum, (code 4 Temp sensor)
I am a member of that forum but I can't log in (bugger).
It's same problem I'm having with my truck. Any chance you can post the pics on here for me, Toyota Leeds are trying to charge me £60.00+ but that's for the temp sender BTW my truck goes like stink no apparent lack of power at all. also the part number would be usefull (don't want much do I).

Hi mate, temp SENSOR. I suspect it's the one that screws in the under side of the inletmanifold, just forward of the throttle body that's above. (does that make sense?) cable is held on by a small nut, not a push fit connector.
I think that I might have damaged it when changing the starter.
If you have one, how much do you want for it?

Hiya G these are the only 3 sensors on the n/s of the block

The top 2 are from the rear of the block and the front one is from the front of the block by the thermostat housing
These are from a 3.0l 2nd gen

I haven't got one at the moment no sorry about that.I should of looked at your profile to see what truck you had.The only other 2 people i can think of will be lord lucan and biosurf with 2.4's
