Merry Xmas Toby. I havent forgotten, I did enquire with a few couriers but they can be weird about Lawnmowers. All the fuel would have to be emptied out , and as its two stroke, no oil to be worried about. It would then have to be packed up in a cardboard box of some kind and with the handle I suppose that makes it a difficult shape. I really didnt want to ask you to go to all that trouble. I was going to wait till nearer the run to the Mud and Snow in Feb and see if I could get a 5urf Train up to Jockland.
Morning to you too Graham, although if you are in Des Moines . its only just morning at a push when you wrote that. Anyway no doubt it will be morning when you read this, so MERRY XMAS to you and yours.
PS Im not the Grinch you know, I quite like all this festive thing. The weeks before can be tedious and I do confess to getting just a shade grumpy when putting the Xmas tree together, and untangling the lights, which have a life of their own, and spend the year tying themselves into reef knots and quadruple sheepshanks no matter how tidily you put them away, but once thats over Im the life and soul with only the occasional lapse into the odd Bah Humbug.
Right now ( even though Im at work ) Im feeling all mellow and peaceful and wishing everyone on earth a fun and happy day. I want this feeling to continue and the first of my crew to spoil it for me is going to get the rough edge of my tongue.
