i just wanted to say my last goodbyes.possibly forever from the forum.
you see its been hard to kep this under wraps, but gwh200............well the old fella aint to keen on flying.
what does this mean i (dont) hear you cry.i am making a scheduled,same old, journey that thousands of fellow travellers make every day, ie by defying(almost) the laws of sensibility, i will willingly allow myself to be strapped into about 300 tons of mostly -highly imflamable- fuel, and allow myself to witness testament to said 300 tons being lofted skywards towards a former colony for several hours.i have no recollection of hearing of british airways pilots being arrested at the controls for drunkeness,nor have i ever heard of bits blowing off/being held together by gaffa tape etc.a few months ago a big hole appeared in a quantas jet, a 747........................... .......im going on a 747 tomorrow.
