Never a good thing, but at least they gave you plenty of warning and notice to sort something else out. Not a great time to do it, but best of luck to you both.

"needy"
(says a surf owner who's particular ride throws a hissy fit on average once a month........it must be a girl)
Well, my MG ZT (which is, of course, a 75 with a different interior, all the chrome painted, upgraded suspension and a tuned engine) was totally reliable and a great joy to drive. In the end, I only got rid of it because it kept getting scratched and people kept wanting lifts to Ikea.
I understand it's behaving itself in its new home and is very popular. Picture time again:
As I understand it, build quality is extremely inconsistent though and there are many many dogs.

i have been "passengered" in a mg 75 and it went like greasy weasel poo..but the glove box kept opening when going round a bend, amongst other build quality issues.
real pity as it went well, held the road VERY well and had good brakes...but when the interior mirror/rear boot lining/etc etc came apart on a regular basis..real shame as it was a really good driving experience
i am still stuck with my 997 cc 3 cylinder corsa.but it has just done 1045 miles on aprrox £60 quids worth of unleaded (and most of that as flat out as its possible to go in such a hunk of s h i t)
