the seats are very supportive,
yep! the early cherrys are a bit basic looking, but its leccy everything.
a 4 ltr will return anything from 15-22 mpg, depending on the right foot
a 2.5 TD 28-34 mpg

I've had a good furtle with the Surf today and found the problem

Distinct lack of lubrication in the front diff, has caused massive bearing failure
of the pinion and o/side diff carrier bearing and the o/side driveshaft

it may have been ok, if Dave hadn't used 4wd


I've fitted a fog light & repaired the tailgate window motor

Get the diff code anfd you should be able to pick up a front diff and driveshaft for about £100 plus delivery
