Either of you guys have a diagram of how you wired up your alternator. Vince you found a motor yet? Nigel has a Soarer sat outside his workshop.Don't know if he wants to sell it though. He's in America at the moment back in about a week.

I wasn't after a whole engine, just the ally water by-pass tube. I've repaired it now, gonna fit it tomorrow. Might be interested in the soarer though, depends on price.

Are you using the Surf alternator?

Two, one main to charge the battery and one to turn the ignition light off so I have been told, but do I need a regulator?

Regulator should be built into the alt.
