what is an average mpg for a 1990 2.4 td all standard as far as i know

Ey up Si, hanging rather low right now, car's not well, changed starter contacts, and it now runs like a bag'o'crap.(limp home) ECU reports code 4. temp sensor on inlet manifold, off work tomoz, going to try and get one. One good thing I finish work next Friday, and go back on Jan 5 /2009 YESSSSS!!! (just to upset any readers) Talk later night night.

If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.

connections I could find and started it up, ran smooth as silk and pulls well.

Check light still on tho' disconnecting batteries will not clear it, any ideas anyone??? Or I might remove the bulb.
