  • cold bottom

After been stuck in traffic for the past hour & half pulled into the drive & don't ask why but thought i'd take a look under the bonnet. Top of rad was red hot but half way down was clap cold & so was bottom hose. Temp gauge never moves & heaters blow nice & hot. Is it a case of new stat & a good flush or something more sinister.
If its not broke don't fix it.

If your radiator is cold at the bottom, even more so half way down, it's a sign that it's working very nicely.
