  • Lexus V8 breakers!

Anyone know of any Lexus V8s being broken for parts, particularly engines (1UZFE)??

    LS400 or SC400.

    I've broken mine!

I guess you could try PMing Soramad too, as he may have some links in the Soarer world.

              Thanks Pete.....er Jess

              It's not totally fubared.
It's my fault, I bought an all singing all dancing auxillary temp gauge as the stock Lexus gauge (I have the Lexus dash fitted remember) is about as acurate as the Surf's apparently. So I started unscrewing the factory sender and it it snapped off in the coolant bypass tube. No problem I thought, I've got some 'easy outs' I'll use them to extract it. Started winding it in to bite into the broken piece of sender unit and it split the alloy tube.!!!!!
I can remove the tube and get it ally welded, but I thought it would be cheaper/quicker to get another bypass tube.
