im giving my 3.0 a service next week, so i looked at roughtrax and theyre doing some good deals.
plus they are doing "kits" now, which means less clicks for your finger and less looking around.

Whichever rocks your boat, in all honesty. As far as I recall, mineral upto full synth are usable for that engine.

rod put oil in his truck which made it tick, an oil change to a different type immediately fixed the issue.
what i want to use is the oil that didnt make the engine tick!

but i dont know what that is :/

Magnatec or mineral are the ones which supposedly quieten a slightly sloppy engine, although I do believe someone recently said they had the same effect from a full synth. I personally wouldn't go with full synthetic unless it had been used in the engine from day one.

the engine is fine,, however i read about putting a different oil can make noises. and i cant find it using the search.

i read previous threads about how magnatec is a waste of £60 every 5000kms. so i dont use that any more.

Milners kits are cheaper, i use 15/40 semi synthetic oil. Got it from Maxis trade £6.90 for 5ltrs
