  • electric chainsaw oil

    just got given a mculloch one,it has a resevoir for oil,and its empty any ideas wot to put in there anyone?my guess would be 3 in 1 oil??

    Nope, try chainsaw oil! available from Countrywide Farmers or any agricultural merchants or B&Q and places like that sell it
    it's in me shed, mate.

              Use chainsaw chain oil, it's got a very sticky consistancy so that it is not thrown off of the chain by centrifugal force. You can get away with engine oil (not 2 stroke oil !!) at a pinch but you will have to keep a close eye on the level as it will be pumped out faster than proper chain oil.
