I thought the 3.0 ECU had the ECT built in and not seperate like the 2.4?

Anyhow if not, it's behind the panel on the drivers side, above the fuses.

It does. It's behind the passenger side kick panel, and (nor being funny) if you dunno what you're looking for, leave it alone.

If you can't buy an ecu try this guy.

He fixed mine in 3 days £178 after having a right nightmare with ecu's. Got a free cap, lighter and fridge magnet as well.

I think it may be the immobilisor playing up with a dicky connection, so I'm trying that first.

Its def electrical because it just cuts in and out when it feels like it. The rev counter bounces up and down. Then its fine. Worse on bumpy bits. Great when offroad!

I took it up to Salisbury on Sunday with a mate in a 110 Camel Press car and it was ok apart from intermittent fault. Still managed to get home in one piece which is a minor miracle in itself! Very wet

@Stormy, I think it may be the fault that matey who sold had thats never really gone away as I havent moved it since I bought it.

Can I get a refund? Lol!

                  Keep you all posted

@Phantom...cheers for that my try him
