I have heard of loads of people that had rads from Milners leaking....
I ordered some fuses once and they did not fit....
I only buy my filter kits at Milners now....One day at the time I guess..

Hi Mitsy,
I bought a new rad from Roughtrax earlier this year. Rather than buy a brand new one I went for the reconditioned option. Not had any probems at all with it and it's fully guaranteed by Barry, so there should not be any problems. Only thing is you'll need to send your old one back to him, as he gets them reconditioned by a local radiator company. As you're not too far from Bristol you could collect from him or drop off the old one to save on carriage costs.
Changing the rad is actually fairly easy. The manual says to remove the fan, etc, but if you are careful you can remove and replace it without taking the fan off. Just need to detach the hoses and the shroud and it should slip through the space. Just need to work the bottom hose inlet pipe through the fan blades but even that isn't too much of a problem if you use a piece of the packing cardboard to protect the radiator cooling fins whilst you are dropping the new one into place.
Best of luck with the replacement.Mike G

i didn't think it made a difference if you put an auto rad on a manual then all you do is not connect up atf pipes, makes no difference. you couldn't use a manual rad on an auto though, nowhere for atf pipes. maybe they didn't ask if auto or manual coz all they send out is the auto one.
this could be complete bollox though...i have been known to imagine things then think it was real.i swear, it was like that when i got here...
