quick question peep"s, how long should the dash light for the glow plugs stay on??
Said it was quick lol.

my dash light only stays on a few seconds if that!! i leave it until it beeps and toy hear the relay click then give it a go.

3.o's dont stay on long atall,mine just flickers on and off

I have a 2nd gen 3ltr and it comes on for no longer than a second. Even in mid winter. Only time I have ever had a problem was when one of the battry's was slightly loose and it was only ever so slightly loose. I tightened it by about one turn (almost). It cured my starting problems.

yeah my 2nd gen 3.0l only comes on for a split second and away she goes,starts lovely!

Thanks guys. Mine's the same. Just wondered cos the transit i had was on for a hell of a lot longer.

I normally wait until the light goes out (blink n it's out) or n until me Ariel is half way up !!!
