Would make a nice expedition vehicle with a tent on the back.

The door handle is a stretch for me, and it's a bit wide so might not fit down happy valley. As it weighs nearly 15 tonnes it would probably widen happy valley as it went.

Very cool though, adjustable height air suspension, selectable rear wheel steering (including crab mode), and front / rear / centre lockers.

I haven't. I'm wondering about the legality of me driving something that weighs 15 tonnes on a public road. Anyone know what needs to be on your licence?

I ask because the guy who was on the late shift has left it with the fuel light on, and I need it to be running all day for the testing I'm doing, so a trip to Morrisons forecourt might be on...

Cant think what their ad is...

I found 20 litres in a jerrycan. That will keep me going for an hour or two - til I can get someone to go and get some more. The truck is on axle stands and was a swine to get on them! Dont really fancy doing it all again. I'll wait til I've finished testing before I take it for a spin.

              You should see the winch!

Its on the far side behind the fuel tank. Big hydraulic thing would with steel cable about 1/2" thick!

You can just about see the fairlead rollers above the left hand headlamp. I reckon it would pull an entire expedition worth of Surfs out of a 3ft deep mudhole.

It's called 'Copperhead' and i's a variant of the Thales Bushmaster. Loads of info on the web.

              It's well 'ard!

With that V chassis it looks like it's mine protected as well. Could be useful if you get sent to sandy places!!!
