  • front suspension lift

When you do a front suspension lift by adjusting the tortion bars does it knock out the tracking? I have my own tracking gear so it's not a problem I just wondered in case I need to dig it out from the dark depths of the shed.

    Cheers

Na shouldnt affect it, from my knowledge anyway.

It shouldn't do, but so many other things (butterflies in S. America, etc.) seem to affect a Surf's tracking that it would probably be a good idea to check it anyway.

Thank you, that will do for me, I'll dig out & take it with me so we can check it afterwards.

It *might* affect the camber, if the Surf's wishbones are unequal length...

Hold on, thats probably bull. Adding a spacer in the top wishbone DOES put the camber out, as it makes the top wishbone effectively longer. However, neither should affect tracking.

What i was gonna say was, i u dont give each torsion bar the same amount of turns as the other, the weight distrubution will be more on one side hanthe other so would pull to one side. But i didnt say it cos he asked about tracking and im probably wrong , so, hey ho
