  • Clutch rattle

I get a heavy rattle if the clutch is not depressed, this has been the same since I have had the truck, it was like it before and after the clutch was replaced, but I can’t seem to track it down, any ideas?? If I pull in to a drive through I have to keep the clutch is cuz it sounds that bad.

The noise is outside the car not the pedal itself.

New bearing and a good blow out before fitting.

Somethings loose, broken or severely worn then.
Could be a broken finger or two from the pressure plate, but saying that, it would be noisy all the time not just when the pedal is released.

Bu$$er!!!!, good thinking, took it for the steering recall today and one of the checks on the safety report said "exhaust rubbing on chassis" its at the back, i think it was a new exhaust when i got her, i'll check it when its warmer (could be next year)

Pressure plate, bearing, flywheel and clutch fork were all replaced, the noise was there before and after fitting.

Yes, once my foot is pressed down to the floor the noise goes.
