Isn't it just certain models that are bad?

I must admit that years ago I was in an old Defender and it was one of the most uncomfortable vehicles I've ever sat in!

If they're so bad why do many of the armed forces use them?

Im not too sure to be honest. One thing that has always put me off is how expensive they are to mod.

5 stud rims means getting nice wheels is a total sh!tter. Specialist leisure are one of the only companys who can get the gear here to lift one an it costs thousands... end of! No, £100 body lift, £100 springs on a wrangler!

Plus then the tyre size to make it look cool is about £250 a tyre!!

The older models are nicer. The new ones i think are a bit more gay.

they go well offroad... so if thats your thing then fine! But it will look camper then elton john spanking alan carr.

As for defenders.. there easy to (constantly) repair!

They wont be for too much longer. I'll have my hands on a probable replacement at Milbrook next May for EMC testing.

I cant remember actually. I've got some pics in work. It looks slightly like a Humvee from the front, but it isn't.

I dont think its gonna replace all of the Defender's roles, but its certainly going to be replacing some of them.

Got one of these fellas coming in again soon too. Had one in six months or so ago. Impressive!

Defenders being used for the army at the moment aint up to much armor wise, So i've heard.

I like defenders... but if they aint good enough to protect the guys sat in them!! Crush the barstewards!!!!
