  • OK OK Chillitt u were right...... ALE and BEER...

Ok mate I really admit it you were right....
I was still a little confused with the whole difference thing between, beer, ale, bitter and lager...

    But I now get it..

I am drinking a few bottles of Beer at the moment from the Wychwood Brewery and it's lovely....

I can now tell by the taste what it is.... sorry to be such a confusing Dutchman before but I get it now...
This is the kinda stuff I drink in holland only we call it different..

See in Holland Lager is Bier, so to me beer was Bier but this is called speciaal bier or special beer but now I know that that is Beer and lager is the bubbly stuff....... haha

I got a long way to go yet in the English language but hey at least I try..
Think I shud come down again someday soon and get a few people together to go the pub and u can all teach me more about it in English....

    Lets drink some BEER.....

Anyway just thought I let u know u were righ.....
One day at the time I guess..

Another on the way to the dark side...

Remember to keep early June and mid August free next year for a visit to two of the finest beerfests in the UK. Hereford and Worcester.

Look out for Sara Hughes Ruby Porter for something that will blow you away, and Badger First Gold for a brilliant session beer. Sadly, where you live is a bit of a desert for good local beers.

It's all about Adnam's Broadside Ale, followed very closely by Marston's Firestoker.

Firestoker's an interesting beer - thats the one with a bit of vanilla in it. A nice winter beer.

Never got on with Adnams beers though. Might be because the only pub I've seen it in round here is a bit minging so it probably hasn't been at its best.
