  • Sod it - I've had to give in to it....

.....and stop working from home this week - it's too much, as I can't walk properly still, can't sit down, can't lay down for long, don't want to eat and generally feel like plop!

And I'd just like to say - I hate daytime TV!!!!

Too old to care, young enough to remember

Mudsurfer, I know the feeling mate, you've just got to keep your mind busy, if you can do something that requires Concentration you wont feel so much of the pain, try playing some free online games like mahjong or solitaire, it does help.

        Cheers
        Ian

that sounds like it could chaffe!!

I was off work for 18 months a few years ago after a car crash, and was housebound. After a while porn gets boring, but i'm a much better chess player for it!!

                      MudSurfer

I had compressed disk and trapped sciatic nerve as you.

I can still remember crawing from my bed to the toilet as I just could not walk, I managed to get some Physiotherapy out of my doctor but it took some pushing to get, maybe worth a moan?

I found the pain killers hardly touched the sides but at least gave me some sleep.

I have got a mri scan on the 29th with a similar problem and if it shows the lump on the disc like they think is there then they will want it operated on as it has been cuasing bad tingling and numbness in my right leg and foot
