Anyone who was at 'River Deep' recognise the vehicle they're talking about? Seems like those ######s with the Jeep and Daihatsu had been there before annoying others too.

after reading it i started to write down a response. when i have sent it as a mail i will post it here andy.....if anyone has a pic of reg numbers..would be good.they were on red diesel and bald tyres and doing their best to get the strata closed.
goddamm im prepared to drive from eastbourne to do that route..plumb bob from margate, for what !!!
to see a pair of to55ers like that ruin it all...no way.
if anyone has a pic of their reg numbers i will quite gladly pass all the details onto the police
Non intercooled nothing.

Turns out they were to$$ers!
Thats the kind of behavior that sees lanes etc Closed. Even pay and play sites are starting to make rules on tyres etc so there ground isnt all destroyed.
Worse thing about Off roading as a motorsport.
Its VERY cheap to get into. A few hundred an you've got something you can do all sorts of sh!t in. Mostly acting like a tw*t!

when we happened upon them, there was a cherokee on its side and a daihatsu behind it,also on its side.the guy in the daihatsu said that he had tried to go round the cherokee, which had tipped over, and rolled itself.they had done this at 8pm the previous evening, the time now was about midday, they had left their cars as they were unable to recover them.
we all thought it odd how the cherokee had rolled,we could understand that the daihatsu had, as it had tried to drive round on a real slanted bit of ground.
the only thing we could surmise was that the cherokee was being "offroaded" and the tw#t driver had rolled it.
we had two choices go round or reverse .the reverse would have been dangerous, but the go around even more so as the track was reasonably level, but either side ws at about 30-40 degrees, and we all stood the chance of tipping.
eventually blackpoolsparks managed to get up on the incline with the lovely boyo and after i winched the cherokee forward (on its side...it struggled a bit) we used a surf/landcruiser ground anchor to do a snatch pull and right the jeep..did basically the same for the daihatsu.
if we could have got past we would have left them there.....we nearly pushed them right down into the river, but the owners turned up, all very embarrased.it sounds as if these plebs were the same ones who had ripped the strata up beforehand...they need to be taken off the road.
both were on bald road tyres, one had no tax,and both were unroadworthy.Non intercooled nothing.
