  • How much can u get in your surf?

Ok, after the little incident yesterday i had to unload the surf of tools and materials ready for work tommorrow. Flipping eck...... it took me all afternoon! I didnt realise how much stuff I had put in there.
I found tools i thought i had lost weeks ago and tools iv never used( forgot I had them) lol I wont mention the sandwich that was talking to me !!!!! Materials that i kept buying because i had run out.......dont need to buy any copper fittings for a while .

I just hope the insurance company will let me have a large van ? its not going to go in anything else.lol

Recently I was looking at a crew cab (probably hilux again)

and the only thing that really weighed against it, was the fact that
given we just took on some stable and fencing construction,
I would have to buy a trailer in order to move anything beyond 4' in length.

But the surf will do long sheets and timbers with the seats down
and things to go on the tractor and its all lockable

                      (and still tow a trailer)

but for the fact you are a plumber,as a carpenter i could have written that post ,when the mot comes round or i want to collect something tracee has bought of e-bay then i have to go through the same exercise one to free the rear seats so the seat belts can be tested or to clear space to get extra height ,i only load my tools up to bottom of window height so i have room to carry materials when needed , suffice to say my surf runs a bit down at the back with not a lot of suspension travel left but it still spins the rear wheels if i take off in anger (so to speak) would'nt be without it now

I get loads of stuff in when needed, I just put loads of stuff in it until its full up and when its full that equates to loads of stuff

Depends - Nina is ace at car tetris so manages to get more in than I can, but I'm always amazed at what actually will fit - I think I had a dishwasher and tumble dryer in mine once.....
